On August 12, 2024, Community Hospital of Anaconda (CHA) identified unusual activity on its IT systems. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party accessed data between August 10 and August 12, 2024. The breach exposed information including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license or state ID numbers, military and passport numbers, financial account details, patient and medical record numbers, Medicare and Medicaid numbers, treatment information, and health insurance information. CHA completed its review in May 2025.
